WooHoo.....what a word, what a phrase. It speaks volumes in it's simplicity.

That's what we like to refer to as a Mood Shifter as it can dramatically shift your perspective by giving out this happy holler.

On our 9am CST Daily Laughter call we end with a WooHoo shout out. It's a joyful exuberance for the laughter we share daily for 20 minutes and a grand way to take that feeling out into our day. Of course we highly recommend that you take a look at your clock and when the clock strikes 20 minutes past....throw your arms up in the air and shout out a WoOHoO!

The more you Woohoo... the less you Boohoo!

Researchers at UCL (University College London) and Imperial College London have shown that positive sounds such as laughter or a triumphant "woo hoo!" trigger a response in the listener's brain. This response occurs in the area of the brain that is activated when we smile, as though preparing our facial muscles to laugh. The research, funded by the Wellcome Trust, Action Medical Research and the Barnwood House Trust, is published today in the Journal of Neuroscience
