In laughter we learn to have a little fun, toss off the serious that grips us and remember who we are as joyful individuals. Lynda's focus is playfulness. To get curious about life and remember our joy takes exploration and if you can change the mad or sad pants you are in to glad pants...well you jest mind change your focus too.

Get Busy with Fun Focus and join Laugh it Off... your dedication to find a daily dose of delight as you make a declaration about something you no longer require and then laugh it off everyday! It is always best when you let go of something to replace it with something more effective so when you have laughed off the first item, laugh in something better.

The focus is love and remembering why we are loved and how we are loved and loving.

Get moving the year is two months gone and it's time to break the hibernation cycle

National Humor month is everyday in April so use it to develop your humor beingness!

We celebrate World Laughter Day on the first Sunday and then continue with a joyful month of meditation concentration...focus, laugh and feel better!

It's Effective Communication Month so the focus is on how to be more effective by getting out of our own way, laugh and let the good times roll.

July
The Jolly in July Challenge takes place. It is an annual event began in 2009 and it is your opportunity to laugh one minute more each day to build consecutively a consistent practice of lauging, breathing and moving.

Lynda has proclaimed it International Smile Month to focus on that inner smile that creates the outer smile every day of the month. Where a new type of smile everyday and learn more about yourself and others in a positively smiling way. Annually, Began in 2009

Practice Joyful living and be inspired by our Joyful Minute everyday at the end of the call. Toss in the name of someone you love, want to love better, work with, live with or even yourself. We laugh for one minute to bring a focus of joy to all. This began in 2009 and continues everyday.

If it weren't for laughter, Life would be a SCREAM!
Our focus is on the fun as we take each day and tickle the treats of Halloween with a trick or treat each day.

Our reminder for gratitude comes into focus as we create an act of gratitude to giggle by every day. We live this life every day so this month the focus is about how we can find the giggle in what we appreciate calling out all the things we are grateful for followed by a laugh.What a great way to boost appreciation with joy!

December
Ho Ho Ho comes to life this month as we celebrate the gifts of December. What is a gift for you today and what gift did you give another is the focus. We celebrate in two ways because celebration is a good thing!
First, every day at the end of the call we will do a 15-30 review of all the exercises in a quick summary to invigorate the left and right sides of the brain.
Second, we will enjoy the 12 days of laughter in countdown to the end of the year and close with a celebratory Woohoo for the year!

From time to time the members of the call have special birthdays, anniversaries and events...we celebrate everything! Do share!

On December 6, 2006 Gaga Barnes of California decided to put her two day Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders training into a daily practice for herself and other laughter leaders who might want to create a daily laughter practice to keep themselves reminded and purposeful about what they had learned and what they wanted to share with the world.

In April 7th Gaga and Lynda both participated in the five day Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers training and it piqued Lynda's interest to create the same for the Chicago area. As the wheel had already been invented, Gaga invited Lynda to host a daily call using the same vehicle. Maya added her name to the list with Taulere and Gaga's husband Khevin who were all present at the Teachers training and from the graduation date on April 11th, three other call times were launched.

Maya began immeditately on April 14th to host the 10am CST call time and Lynda began a week later on April 21st. Khevin began his own time and Taulere joined Lynda in May for a period until branching off to develop her own call time. Since this early beginning, leaders have joined the call and departed for a period of time, finding a purpose in the daily commitment to laugh and host for others. It has been a beautiful experience!

About Lynda's Call
Lynda's calls are playful, so go with the flow and just laugh if you don't know what else to do. The exercises that are provided are meant to tickle the funny bone, exercise the body and the mind too. The exercises always help to know more about your consciousness, connect to what your body tells you and to change the mood.

Sometimes there are no exercises and the group feels like laughing, so we get carried away...allow yourself to be carried away too! Other days we change the historical to the hysterical knowing that we are the big joke and that being able to laugh at ourselves is a daily treasure. As Lynda puts it....we are material!

Laughter is experiential so do give yourself a whirl and join in, like anything in life, you get out of it what you put into it and in the privacy of your own phone call...you can pretty much do anything you want to laugh and learn more.
